Sushi | Bar
This hospitality interior design project in Chicago sought to create a transformative room for patrons of Sushi|Bar, a restaurant with locations throughout the country. Our team incorporated warm woods, curved shelving, and striking green marble into our design, all of which call to mind natural spaces and evoke a feeling of serenity.
We also utilized stacked tile and terrazzo flooring, common elements of midcentury Chicago architecture, pairing them with upholstered panels and brass fixtures. The end result was an intimate, sophisticated space that would be appealing for diners.
Private Wellness Spa
You don’t always have to take a trip to get away from it all, as seen in this private wellness spa within one of Chicago’s corporate office buildings. Devised as a special retreat to facilitate destressing at the end of the day, the private wellness spa aims to transport users to another place, made possible through the work of Kuchar’s hospitality interior designers.
To create a calming atmosphere, our team incorporated elegant tile and marble patterns, lush woods, and ambient lighting, some of which is presented in a sunburst pattern suggestive of the natural world. Amenities include ice plunge pools, a dry sauna, and a shower facility.
Nevins Showroom
For this showroom project, our Chicago hospitality interior design firm wanted to impress visitors with a bold and eye-catching environment unlike any they had seen before, taking inspiration from nature and how it thrives in an urban environment.
Floral elements burst with life and color throughout this showroom, complementing the pastels, soft finishes, and sleek furnishing of the space. The result is a refined and inviting space that both draws the eye and perfectly highlights the furniture Nevins provides.
